Tracey Carver-Allbritton Releases Statement Regarding McKinney Pool Party

More than a week after the incident at a McKinney pool party went viral, one of the individuals involved in the fight has finally released a statement disputing accusations of being racist.

Tracey Carver and her powerful super-attorney Gloria Allred, who has been called "The Avenger" by the New York Times, have released a statement disputing the account given by Tatiana Rhodes, 19, at the McKinney pool party fiasco.  Two core defense tactics seem to be the focus of the delayed statement.  The first tactic includes defeating accusations that Carver made racial slurs towards Africa-American teens, and making a sound argument that she is in no way racist.  This is done in part by allowing her long-time family friend A.C. Clark, an African American man, join in on the press conference and attest to the fact. The second tactic is distancing herself from having anything to do with starting the fight, and pushing the story that she was only trying to break it up.  In Carver's statement, she clearly places blame on Rhodes for starting the fight with her friend.

"A young woman over the age of 18 then began screaming and charged down the stairs at my friend. My friend did not make any motion toward her. My friends hair was grabbed and she was pulled to the middle of the street. My kids were screaming and traumatized. I walked out to diffuse the fight and did just that. I did not beat anyone nor did I use use racial slurs of any kind. I was trying to separate friend from a person who was pulling her hair." says Carver.

Allred, known for representing women in gender discrimination suits has been counsel to women in cases involving Tiger Woods, Bill Cosby, former Rep. Anthony Weiner, and Eddie Murphy just to name a few. Allred's involvement in this case may be posturing due to CoreLogic Inc., Carvers' employer, placing her on leave over the incident.  In conversations with a close friend of the family Carver is taking all measures possible to not lose her job.

Carver has selected one of the most powerful attorneys in the United States to represent her, and rightfully so. Disputing the fact that she did not throw a punch is going to be hard to make after watching the video below, and may actually require super-powers Allred is alleged to have. Watch and come to your own conclusion, if thats even possible at this point.
